Leadership Development Events (LDE's) are speaking and FFA knowledge events that students compete in the Fall. Students compete on Jr. and Sr. Levels. In their greenhand year (1st year) students can compete on the jr. level against other greenhand members. The sr. level is all FFA members above the greenhand level.
